SUPER VIDEO CLUB

This past winter might have been the worst on record for the East Coast. No snow in the forecast got us all re-thinking our entire existence.

Then one night, West texted the group, saying, “Guys, a huge storm is coming to Halifax.” 72 hours later, the crew was filming their first clips of the year. We ended up filming for two straight weeks in Halifax, which literally saved our first video project.

“Super Video Club” is our first team movie, featuring West Lalande, David Tourigny, Phil Carpentier, Elena Graglia, Jacob Legault, Stefan Alvarez, Nate Lund & Emile Prudhomme.

OUR RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FOR BALTI REALLY STRENGTHENED WHEN IN 2010, WE WITNESSED BALTI AND HIS FRIENDS HAULING A MASSIVE HANDRAIL THROUGH THE STREETS OF MONTREAL, UNSCREWING CITY FIXTURES TO CREATE
'GNARLAND'-THEIR SECRET SPOT ON MONT ROYAL FOR SHREDDING AN EPIC RAIL GARDEN ALL WINTER LONG. IT WAS A PLACE FILLED WITH 'GOOD SOUVENIRS'.

WE GREATLY ADMIRE BOTH HIS ARTISTIC TALENT AND THE PERSON HE IS. WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY AROSE TO COLLABORATE, IT WAS AN EASY DECISION TO PARTNER WITH BALTI-A FRIEND OF THE CREW AND AN EXCEPTIONALLY TALENTED YOUNG ARTIST. ITS BEEN A REAL PLEASURE SEEING BALTIS PROCESS IN REAL TIME AS WE WORKED TOGETHER ON THIS PROJECT.

WE'RE THRILLED WITH THE FINAL RESULT: A SMALL CAPSULE COLLECTION THAT CELEBRATES OUR SHARED ROOTS, EVOKING MEMORIES OF SNOWBOARDING'S GOLDEN ERA WHEN ART PLAYED A PIVOTAL ROLE IN BOARD GRAPHICS. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SHARE WHAT WE'VE CREATED WITH OUR GOOD FRIEND, BALTIMORE LOTH.

December 2023. After years of wanting to explore the Minnesota snowboard scene, we finally got the crew together and packed up the van and set out to experience the legendary Rope towes of the Midwest.

The Red Ledge is one of snowboarding’s most iconic street spots. It gained legendary status in the early 2000s. The moment the city removed the paint, we knew we had to restore it to its original glory for at least one more session.
